Overview
- ET-20 is a viscous liquid resulting in little to no leaching (less than 1%)
- ET-20 has less than 25 ppm phosphates, a critical environmental attribute.
- ET-20 is applied to road salt/sand at 6-10 gallons per ton.
- Meets stringent Pacific Northwest specifications.
- EnviroadThaw 20 has a eutectic point of -50 F.
- Prevents stockpiles from freezing, which reduces loading time and increases response

- Salts and aggregates pretreated with ET-20 are heavier and more hygroscopic, immediately
sticking to the road surface, drastically reducing bounce and scatter.
- Using ET-20 reduces costs by improving spreadability of stockpiles, using less material and
working longer than untreated salt.
- Pretreated salt stockpiles melt at lower temperatures (-0 degrees F) than untreated salt (20o F)
and pretreated aggregate obtains previously unknown melting capability.
- ET-20 drastically improves the melting rate, freezing point and longevity of salt.
